Is Aero Republica the only carrier flying from Bogota to Leticia? There seems to be only one flight a day at 12:50pm. Couldn't find any other connection. Anybody with the most recent experience on this route? I got a quote COP 320,000 one way . Thanks for any info.

Previous reports:
Aerorepublica is the only airline that flies to Leticia. It seems that Avianca plans to resume flights to Leticia. Satena flies from Leticia to some jungle town. I do not remember the town´s name.
A new Colombian airline, Satena, flies from Leticia to Bogota City, . It costs US$102.00. It takes 2 hours.
There are 2 airlines flying to/from Bogota-Leticia, in the three border crossing (Colombia-Brazil- Peru). Satena Airlines flies weekly and Aerorepublica flies daily.
I was told at the Leticia airport last month that Avianca plans to resume the Bogota to Leticia route, although no date was given.
Another option is to fly to Manaus and from there fly to Tabatinga, Brasil, which faces Leticia. There is no border control between Leticia and Tabatinga
Rico and Trip airlines fly the Manaus-Tabatinga route.

I flew Bogota to Leticia in Feb and I only knew of that one flight going there from Bogota. Be sure to reconfirm your flight the day before, as when we got there we found out that the time had been moved back by 3 hours and they didn't think to tell us. If you are heading to Brazil, get your exit stamp in the airport when you land as it saves the hassle of going back out there when you are ready to move on. I payed £100 for a flight from Santa Marta connecting in Bogota. Also, you'll need some cash to pay the tax when you land.
