COP200,000? Just a wild guess.

a private taxi you get for 140.000 - you can get shared taxis , they take 1:15 Cartagena to Baranquilla

sorry i forgot to say , the shared taxi charge 19.000 pesos - they pick you up in the hotel you are staying in Cartagena

So 140,000 is about $80 USD. Is that correct?

How could I arrange a shared taxi in advance for cheaper?

I just used the Marcol service from Cartagena to Barranquilla, and they're really professional. But understand that they don't go to the airport in Barranquilla and drops you off in a neighborhood in El Morillo, which requires you to take a 20 minute cab ride. So plan accordingly.

there are taxi colectivos from Cartagena to barranquila 1 hour and half...they cost 19000 pesos and you can easily book form your hosdtel and they pick you up, but you shpould be one hour before your time departure.
