Our family of 17 adults is trying to reserve a place to stay in Bahia solano Dic/08 and want inside information of best ecolodges and /or good and reasoneably priced( we are aware of"alta temporada" surcharges) also flights from Medellin and / or armenia which airline Satena or ADA?

I was in Bahia Solano last year and had a great time. There are a number of ecolodges in the area but I can vouch for Nancy and Enrique Ramirez who run a variety of things in the area from sports fishing to a private lodge slightly north of Bahia Solano. They have been there for 20 years I believe and so anything you need to know, they will be informed. You can reach them via email on bahiatebada@hotmail.com but I would suggest calling since their email is down frequently. Cel: 312 729 3744, tel: 682 7525. Their place sleeps plenty and they only open it up when there are more than 12 guests so your deal sounds fine. All prices will include food and so on. But get in touch with them for further info.
Your next issue to address are flights. Shop around and buy ahead of time and you should be fine...with that many people you should be able to strike some sort of deal with Satena.
