From Cali I am looking to do a couple side trips Monday-Thursday (or Friday) the week of March 17 and March 24. Any suggestions?

One week I was thinking of staying near Cali by going to the Salento area or Popayan. Is there enough to do in either of those areas for 3.5 days?

Another week I was thinking of trying to go to Bahia Solano or Nuqui. The boat option from Buenaventura sounds interesting, but not sure I have enough time to do that. It seems you can get there by flight from Medillin, but can I fly from Cali? Also, many recommendations have been made on places to stay in Bahia Solano and Nuquil, but does anyone have any contact info? or is there another beach area you would recommend that I can get to from Cali?

The week of the 17th is Easter week. My understanding is that a lot of Colombians will have Thursday and Friday off for a long weekend. For any of the places I mentioned above will I be able to find a place to stay during that week? And if I go to Bahia Solano that week will flights still be available to book when I arrive in Cali around March 13?

Any help is appreciated!

Try San Cipriano - a good place to visit for 1 night.

Yes you could indeed try Sn Cipriano - good for chilling out for a couple of nights.

Popayan is farther afield, but it's a pretty, laid back colonial town.

Maybe consider Lago Calima.

Bear in mind that Buenaventura is currently one of the most dangerous cities to Colombia. Avoid it at all costs if possible.

check out the pijiba lodge, google it and also Las Rocas de Cabo Marzo and you should come up with info for Nuqui and Bahia Solano.
