2 extra days in Colombia--how do we spend them?

Hello!

My boyfriend and I are flying in and out of Bogotá later this month and because of airline issues, we now have 2 extra days-totaling 13. Our original plan was to fly in, have a little over a day in Bogotá, fly to Cartagena for 2 days there, then head to Tayrona for 2 days, Minca for 2 days, Medellín for 2 days, and ending with another day in Bogotá. It's a lot of moving around, so I'm torn between adding an extra day to Medellín and an extra day to Tayrona/that area, or adding both extra days to Tayrona and Minca and that area. Being in Medellín on a weekend day would be nice (if we add a day there we will be there Saturday), and I've heard great things about the city, but we really love exploring nature and relaxing in beautiful places. Would love some advice!

If I was in your place, I would add another day to Cartagena and another to Medellin. But then I have not been to Tayrona so don't know what am I missing.
But playa blanca is at least a one day thing and some people like to spend the night there!

Either add 2 more days to cartagena, and you can visit places near there like Guatape, the Arvi park, or an overnight stay in Santa fe de Antioquia, north of Medellin.

Or otherwise from Bogota use 2 days to go out to Villa de Levya for an overnight stay. You might visit the Salt Cathedral on the way.

I would add a day to Tayrona for sure. We had 3 nights at the park and hiked all over.

2 days for Cartagena is enough. Unless you want to go to one of the beaches/islands. We were not tempted but if you do go I suggest you stay overnight so you can be there when the crowds have left. As you are going to Tayrona I would give the beaches near Cartagena a miss.

I liked our day trip to El Penol and Guatape from Medellin. I guess I would add the other day to Medellin.
