Where to spend New Year´s Eve?

Hi there,

We fly out of Puerto Montt on 2nd of January and was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to spend New Years Eve. I´ve heard there´s not a whole lot going on in Puerto Montt and maybe Puerto Varas would be better.

Any recommendations would be great?

I would spend it at hosteria de la colina in Villarricca.....great place, great hosts.....check it out....homesteader

Hi there,

We actually have to stay in Pto Montt for New Years as we get off the Navimag on Dec 31st. We are catching a catamaran to bariloche on Jan 2nd. We are staying in Tren del Sur (its on hostelworld I think) and they are organising a dinner and drinks for New Years so all is not lost! Hope this helps!
