Hi all,

I have been trying to book a flight to Punta arenas in about a month and a half ( a bit last minute, I know). When choosing flights through sky and despegar, it lets me go all the way through the check out process and then says "Lo sentimos, no hemos podido procesar su pago.
Comuníquese con su banco para pedir autorizar el pago" (despegar.com) and "page not found" when searching sky.

My sister in Chile is unable to book on her end as well and is having similar issues.

Does anyone know why this could be? I am getting so nervous that we won't be able to catch a flight but there doesn't seem like a way to online currently.

Any tips on how to get around this or good ideas on last minute flights would be greatly appreciated!

Sky doesn't accept non Chilean issued credit cards. I doubt that this note of checking with your bank to authorize would yield any results. This doesn't explain why your sister cant do it, I expect this is just because she is unfamiliar with buying plane tickets on line. Or if she is not Chilean or permanent perhaps she doesn't have Chilean cards either.

Sky website has a lot of problems, for example the English version wouldn't let you check in, I don't think this is fixed yet.

A month and a half is around end of December? Likely you will be able to get a seat but you will pay more! .............Just checked and around end of December the first five cheapest seat classes are already sold out, the ticket is already expensive and getting more expensive all the time.

Cheapest return I could find was 167, 708 CP or about USD 241

First, always use the Spanish version of the website.
Problem is not that the passenger doesn't have Chilean ID, I just booked last week a SKY ticket for my son on his Cdn passport, paying with my Chilean issued Visa without any problem.
