Hello! I am hiking the W trek in late November and looking for advice on whether to go from East to West or West to East, and whether it's better to rent a tent at the campsite or rent one and Puerto Natales and bring it with me.

East or West has its advantages and disadvantages. What way is entirely up to you - Most people recommend going from West to East and finishing at the towers on the final morning.
If you have a tent and can take it - do so. But remember its Patagonia, so it should probably be pretty good in terms of wind and rain resistance.
If not, Puerto Natales has lots of rental stores that hire them out.
