TdP

Hello,

We are interested in renting a car and driving to TdP from Calafate. Is the road paved and how long is the drive? Will we have problems crossing the border?

Also, is it necessary to bring our own tent, or can we rent/buy a tent while in TdP? Any hostel recommendations?
And will our luggage be safe in the car for a couple days while camping? Thank you kindly for your input.
