Hey all,

I have leftover Argentine Pesos as I'm sure you've all heard before, but I'm on a limited phone and was wondering if someone could advise please.

I have 400USD in ARS and am flying from Santiago > Sao Paulo > London

Thanks

You can exchange them in a money exchange in the center of Santiago. You will get Chilean pesos in exchange. Looking at the exchange from a couple of days ago you would get CLP$37 for each ARS peso. You would then either spend the pesos in Chile or buy other currencies. Buying dollars will cost you aprox CLP$690 each. But the exchange varies a bit.

Thank you for the response.

Do you know if I can spend ARS at duty free shops at Santiago or Sao Paulo airports please?

No. No one will take ARS for payment of anything.

That's not quite true. There are exceptions:
