I live in Santiago and need to send around 10kgs back to England. It’s mostly books and clothes – nothing fragile or too valuable. Time is not important, I don’t mind if my things take a couple of months to arrive in England.

I can send 10 kgs back with the national service for around $80. Does anybody know a cheaper or better way?

Thanks.

If time is not important, how does $80 compare with the excess checked baggage fee of your favorite or most likely airline you will be flying on your next trip to the UK? If it is less than $80, then it is a no-brainer (assuming you will be flying back for a visit in the future).

Thanks. It's more expensive that way, but I appreciate the idea.
