I have about 20days to travel from Arica to Santiago,
and from the map it seems reasonable to do a half-circle starting from Parque Lauca-Uyuni-San Pedro Atacama,
then continue south to Santaigo.
Are there tour companies operating this route, or is a bus trip possible?

Bus trips are possible between cities, since it´s not rare for locals to hop between both countries, and you can get tours there. It´s been a while since I went, but the trips can be kind of long and tiring. Try to keep a flexible schedule, and you should be fine
