Hello! We are planning to spend 4 days in TDP. The thought is to rent a car just for 1 day & drive around TDP to catch views of main miradores in the south & east region of the park. The rest 3 days we are planning on trekking the French Valley & the Torres. Could someone advise me if the idea of renting a car is good or shall we spend all 4 days in trekking? Does anyone know & how much it costs to enter the TDP by car?

May be better to take a taxi to and a bus from. Last time we went they didn't charge us for the vehicle. They charged me the the foreigner fee and my wife the Chilena fee, I think I paid around $16 U.S. but it is probably more now.

We intent to go t oTDP by bus for 3 days trekking. For the 4th day we were thinking of renting a car for just 1 day just to drive around TDP and see the south part of the park.
