hello

i'm living in mendoza and someone nicked my mp3... so i'm going to santiago to buy an ipod coz i heard it's a normal(ish) price. anyone who's been in argentina knows about the ridiculous tax on electrical goods.

anyone have any ideas on price and where i can get one?

thanks for your time guys, $368 USD (179 quid) 30 GB, in one of the shops listed above, chile
$523 USD (254 quid) 80 GB.

here in mendoza it costs: $579 USD (282 quid) 30 GB
$805 USD (392 quid) 80 GB

for $30 USD return bus trip, is really worthwhile....... just in case anyone else is interested!
