Hello...
I am going to San Pedro over New Year. The Hostels from the Lonely Planet I have tried so far all seem to be booked up. Can anyone recommend a good place which is maybe not listed in the book?
Should I worry about a place to stay at all? Or will I always find a place - even around New Year?

I stayed at Hostel Jurica (prononced like the jumping out of the bath thing) it was good and wasnt in the LP at the time, 2005. Its just North of the foot ball pitch on the western end of town. Dont know of any phone number tho sorry

Yes, it will be difficult finding acc. as a lot of Chileans have a Christmas and/or New Year's break in SP.
I stayed at hostal Puritama.
