HI ALL,

I am arriving in Easter Island on Jan 18th. Do I need just running shoes to explore it with the tours? or hiking boots?

Does it rain a lot? Do I need a heavy Poncho or just one of those plastic throw aways?

I was in Easter Island last week and it rained a lot. Hiking or waterproof shoes is a must. Also, the weather forecast was useless. The weather is unpredictable there.
