Hi all,
Next August I will do trip in South America. I will come from Bolivia and I would like to stay arroud two weeks in Brazil. I have some questions:
- From Bolivia I will arrive by train to the border and then I will take a bus to Rio or Sao Paulo. Is there anything worth between the border and one of this two cities? How long does it take to reach one of them?
- We are also planning to go to Iguazu so we will spend a couple of days there. Do you recommend to go there by bus or by plane?

Can anyone tell me if the Comtas booth in Salvador airport is open 24 hours? I'll be arriving after midnight on a Sunday morning and would prefer to use a Comtas taxi as it's my first time in Brazil.
Cheers,
Garry
Last time I was in Brazil I met a girl who was so hot it was ridiculous. She has absolutely no business hanging out with me, but we have continued to email and talk once in awhile. She is learning more and more English.
There is no way I'll ever get a girl this hot again in my life, so I'd like to arrange for her to come here and to get married.
I know you have to go through some interview thing to prove you like each other, but won't I basically be able to say, "LOOK at her, how could you blame…

I'm planning a quick 3 week trip around RJ, 4 nights in RIO city, then up to Petropolis/Teresopolis for a hike & back to Parati & Ilha Grande. Can anyone give me advice on transport arond the State? Is there a possible circle trip that I can do, rather than returning to RIO? If there is a circular route with a couple of stopover places along the way, particularly between Petropolis & Parati, that would be useful info.
Additionally, is there a ferry or boat transport between Parati & Ilha Grande…
What rate can I expect to get for cash US dollars in Sao Paulo at the moment, I will be there next week.
