can anyone recommend a good capoeira school in Brazil where I could go as a begginer for a week and learn the basics?

I should be there in May/June of next year.

I'm not yet in Brazil but will be in October so I have been reading some of the posts. Seems to me that the touts have discovered the internet acting as travellers giving "advice" or sharing their bad experiences.

I will be arriving late in Fortaleza (around midnight) and wondered if at that time, it isn't best to just take a taxi into town? Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay- especially coming in so late? Also coming back from Jeri, I noticed there was a night bus leaving at 10:30pm. Does anyone have any experience with this? What time does it arrive in Fortaleza? Does anyone recommend spending a full day in Fortaleza?

Yeah, if you are an intrepid world traveler, most likely you have found yourself in this situation once or twice: wanting or needing to stay a little longer in a country, past the expiration date of your visa. I am in that situation now in Brazil...I want to purchase a ticket to fly from one city to another ( Manaus to Salvador) within Brazil, but my visa is expired. I will travelling in Brazil for 4-5 weeks at the end of a 4 month trip.
