We're all Aussie guys from Sydney.

Just looking for someone to split the costs an even four ways - so if you are from Sydney especially, or any other Aussies preferably PM me on here and will give you more details!

If you are going to the World Cup you should try to minimise the negative impact it will have on the people of Brazil by choosing where you stay, where you eat and by learning how the big event has turned out to be a burden for Brazilians. You can also use your visit to enrich people's lives by donating your time and contributing to the country that will host you with whatever you can give.

Two friends and I will be traveling by Bus between Salvador and Rio de Janeiero in July, and we are looking for some good hiking, camping, sightseeing, beaching, or whatever there is in between. I'm talking about Southern Bahia, Espiritu Santo, and Northern Rio de Janeiro Province.

Does anybody have any idea on good 2-3 day trips in these areas?

I appreciate your responses!

Hi Everyone,
A friend and myself are traveling to Brazil for the World Cup. We are going to Sao Paulo, Rio and Floripa for (about 8-9 days) and then looking for 1 week of chilling after that. Currently the 3 options we have are Pipa, Jericoacoara or Leçois Maranhenses. All 3 locations are insanely beautiful - any help in deciding appreciated. Our priorities are:
1) chilling on a beautiful beach, sun, warm water, maybe sun snorkeling action (we are not surfers but I don't mind them)
2) a quaint…

I will be in Rio for one day only during the World Cup and would like to organise a sightseeing trip for two adults and one 2 year old child to take us round the main sights. I have left it so late that all the group day trips seem to be booked up already so I am hoping to find someone who could offer a private guided trip, in taxi or car.

If any of you have done this in the past, any info or recommendations would be gratefully received.
