Vaccinations for Brasil - is it necessary?

It is ridiculous: nobody needs vaccines to visit Rio, Salvador or Foz do Iguaçu.

I answered the OP because he was not seeking medical advice. This is very clear. And I don´t agree that you cannot give an opinion about vaccinations or health questions without being a doctor. Lots of doctors and travel clinics try to give you as much vaccinations as posible whereever you go, just because of their buisness and a lot of then even don´t know anything about the area where you are going to travel. Of course a guidebook, websites, doctors and things like that can have legal problems if they say that some vaccinations are not really necessary. But to take vaccinations when they are really not necessary is not just wasting money, it´s a problem for your health.
