Just wondering if anyonw has ever bought tickets using this site www.orbitz.com ? They are selling tickets from Europe cheaper than most European sites. Please let me know what you think. How come is it cheaper ? Any experiences using this site to buy tickets from Europe to Brazil?

Did not realize Orbitz was selling tickets for flights from Europe as well as the U.S. Service is, if I am not mistaken, run by airlines. No particular discounts I have found for U.S. flights, but convenient in that it shows flights of several different carriers, with comparison for non-stop, 1-stop and multi-stop flights. In the US they charge $5 to issue tickets (though you could buy from the airlines themselves). I have heard of no problems using Orbitz in the US.

I like Orbitz and have never had a problem but now prefer kayak.com Kayak just searches all travel search engines including the airlines themselves and tells you which site to go to to buy the cheapest ticket.
