Hi,

We plan to rent a car in Salvador for about a week, to go to Chapada Diamantina and some places on the way. Is it more reasonable to pre-book the car with well-established international company such as Alamo or find something local?

You think booking in advance is a good idea, or just walk in and rent on the spot?

Also, is it possible to extend pre-booked rental for a day if in need?
