Hi, I'm going to be in Pipa for about 10 days, and am looking for a place to stay. Does anyone know the Pousada Vera My House? I found it online, but not an address, if anyone can supply one. Or, if there are other recommendations, let me know! I am at the end of a 10-month trip, so the budget is getting tighter. Vera is 15 reais a night in the dorm, and after the slums I've been in at some points on my trip, I don't need to be impressed (that's what the beach is for). Just looking for someplace cheap and fun! Obragado!

We were in Pipa about a week ago and while we didn´t stay at Vera My House a friend we met did and we saw the place and it seemed well located, friendly, fun and clean - I´m pretty sure our friend paid R$20 for her doorm.
They seem well set up in Pipa, when we got off the bus from Natal a person (Junior) attached himself to us and advised us that they (there we a few of them speaking various languages) were appointed by the local sherrif to show people posada´s in the price range stated by the tourist - they said they were on a points system and he cerainly didn´t ask us for any money.
Anyway, we mentioned our price range (R$50 for a double) and he showed us a few in that price range and we decided which one we liked (the one with the pool) and booked in. At the same time our friend said she wanted to see Vera My House and he took her just directly to that place, she was happy and booked in straight away.
There we heaps of posada´s in Pipa though so if you aren´t happy with the one you choose it wouldn´t be too hard to find another
