I'm traveling northeast brasil from fortaleza to salvador for 2 weeks in early june. i'm trying to find laid back beaches with calm, clear water for good snorkeling/ diving. trying to avoid big hotel developments or resorts. looking for off the beaten track beach villages with affordable places to stay that cater to the backpacker scene. any advice greatly appreciated.

if i'm traveling in coastal areas should i get a yellow fever vaccination?

Morro de Sao Paulo. Very quiet and cheap at that time of year. Very much doubt you need YF vaccination. Well i didnt and either did any one else.
