Since the time is almost here apparently you have already bought your tickets and want to know whether to worry. There always seems to be a holiday in Brazil. This Saturday is the anniversary of the discovery of Brazil by the Portuguese (before that, of course, the place did not exist at all!). Biggest travel times are around big, and prolonged, holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Carnaval and Holy Week. I would expect a slight bump in travel over the May 1 holiday but nothing significant. Just hope that air traffic controllers or police do not use International Workers Day to stage another quick strike or work slowdown (they have caused chaos in airports).

And don´t forget to bring your bodyguards Tiao Tiaolin cause heaven forbid without them you will get robbed the minute you step into Brasil.

for some people it will be a 4 days weekend since the holidday in on tuesday but many will work on monday and are not travelling anywhere. It may be a bit busy , specially if you want to to go to the beaches, cause the weather will be still good to go the beach, it is pretty warm and no prevision of cold weather coming ...

Some places may change you more for the accomodation on these days cause it is usual during long holidays ...

Macao seems to be a loser ... Hope you have a good and safe time in Brazil.

:o)
