Hi Guys
I am backpacking in Europe and hit a wild idea of weaving in Brazil into my plan.
Would like to know if there are cheap flights from London or Europe to Rio (or anywhere in Brazil). I plan going around end November.
How soon should I book my flight?
Thanks

BOOK NOW! flying to brazil is always tight at the end of the year, you may get cheap flight, if you book now. there is one way to go from Spain, i think that is china airline or not. anyway Spain to Rio/ SP is a choice. or Johannesburg in south africa has connection too, although it may be a bit too far. also there is connection from LA,usa.

First Choice has a weekly charter service Manchester-Gatwick-Salvador but I think this is seasonal & last flight is in October.

Hi,
I was just checking up on the subject of charter flights to Brazil and can report the following.
First Choice offered charter flights to Salvador through My Travel up until October 2007 but these are now being suspended due to some row over air space over Salvador. This is very unfortunate as last year flights were going on some sites for £99 excluding tax.
From what I can see the only other charter company flying to Brazil from the UK is Thomsons into Natal. At the minute flights can be found for about £320 on www.a1-travel.co.uk.

Regards,

M

I may be off here, but Natal is very Brazilian, not too expensive, beautiful beach scenery and about as close as you'll get to Europe. Since you will love it, we know you will come back to Brazil and visit the other locations, planning ahead a little bit, as it is a huge country.
Follow your whim and fly to Natal!
Boa Viagem!

close does not mean cheap or convenient flight connections. Still probably cheaper to fly through Sao Paulo or Rio to get there from most places unless you had a charter deal and I'm not sure how many of them there are, outside of from Lisbon.
