Hey there LPers:
I am looking at cheapest possible flights from Sao Paolo to BsAs returning via Iguazu? Any advise on what sites to look? Or any advise of better routes that maybe cheaper?
Many thanks . . .

The falls have two airports. Cheaper to fly BsAs to IGR and from IGU to S.P. Book with the airline, not a third party.

Sometimes third parties are actually cheaper.
Use momondo, kayak or some other aggregator to search, and then investigate the airline site for whatever option you decide to go with.
You won't be able to buy all legs from the same airline, so you'll have to buy each leg separately. Even so, for São Paulo to Bs. As., check return flights as well as one-way tickets. It's dumb, but often return flights are cheaper than one-way tickets on international flights.
Finally, check all airports. GRU and CGH in SP and EZE and AEP in Bs. As. If you can't find cheap flights, extend your search in SP to VCP and SJK: for national flights you can often find bargains from the airports that are a bit further out (to Bs. As. I expect GRU is your best bet).

I have never found booking direct with any airline to be cheaper than agency websites. You can book flights from agencies outside Brasil. I use Expedia UK to search, book and pay for domestic flights within Brasil. The prices are cheaper than using Brasilian sites and that includes Expedia Brasil. Whichever country you are from, try travel sites based in your country.

Many thanks for all responses - will check them all. Will try booking to IGR and then flying from IGU back to SP.
Will also try andrewk81 suggestions as well as Ieme's suggestions as well . . .
Many thanks again

Hello:
After taking all the kind advise given to me on this chat - I cannot seem to find anything cheaper than $480-$500 for flying Sao Paolo - BA - Iguazu- Sao Paolo . . .
So at this point my question is - is it worth spending so much money (round trip SP-BA-SP costs me less than $300) just to go to Iguazu falls . . .???
Another question . . . I am currently looking at pensiones to stay at in BA . . . I would love to stay in the center of town in BA so that I can walk around to everywhere . . . Could you advise what is the most central part of town?
Could you also advise any decent, reasonably priced pensiones in the center of town that would also be helpful in helping me should I need advise on how to get to certain sights etc etc . . .
Many thanks again in advance . . .
