Hello,
looking to go from Rio to Itacare. I am in Rio right now....Copacabana at Mellow Yellow. Where should I go to book good bus tickets. Is there a certain company which is better than the others....do they have cama or semi-cama to Itacare?

You will have to go to Ilheus first or Itabuna about 18 hrs then transfer to the bus to Itacare only an 1.5 hr away many departures. You can go to the bus terminal in downtown Rio just ask the info desk which company goes to Itabuna or Ilheus, pretty straigthforward, all the buses in Brazil are really comfortable,. But a better option is just head to any of the travel agents in Copacabana tell them where and when you want to go, and they will book it for you and give you a ticket. Itacare is a really beautiful little town that has probably grown a lot since I was last there...Enjoy
