Hi!
I'm looking to travel by bus from Caracas to Manaus in November, stopping in Boavista also and, who knows, maybe check the Angel Falls.
Looking for others interested in doing this trip.

I crossed Venezuela by bike, from Caracas until Santa Elena de Uairen, where I took the bus from Manaus. A big trip of around 16 hours in very bumpy roads. I slept most of the time!

The bus are cheap in Venezuela and there is so much things to see, especially the coast around Puerto la Cruz. For sure biking gave me more "liberty" to stop where I wanted, a thing you cannot always do with buses.

But I really recommand you stop in Santa Elena. This city is a nice place to chill out and make tours in the Gran Sabana, or treks at the Roraima. I stayed there at the Posada Michelle, and met many travellers. It was a great stop after so much bike, rain and tiredness.

Well enjoy your trip! You can contact me if your have questions about the road.

By the way, the mountains between Puerto la Cruz to Maturin are amazing! Many small villages, luxurious jungles and sights. It was one of my favorite place to bike there.
