hola! we have about 2-2.5 weeks in bolivia and our two priorities are the best of the salar de uyuni and southwest circuit, and the amazon at rurrenbaque (we'll fly la paz-rurrenbaque). we'll be entering from argentina at villator/pocitos and leaving via lake titicaca (if time for isla del sol and copacabana, that's a bonus, but we can skip it if no time). once in peru, we have to bus it immediately to lima to catch our flight. (no stops in peru)
so, does anyone have any suggestions about the…

We have a flight tomorrow to Santa Cruz landing at mid-day. We have another flight with Gol the nex morning at 5am to Brazil. Probably need to be back in the airport for 2.30am so can anybody tell me if we can leave our luggage at the airport if we want to go in to town for the day?
Can you fly from Cordoba to Santa Cruz?
If not any idea on how long a bus would take?
Thanks.
Hola chicos, we would love to visit Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado. We're a couple and we're searching for 2-3 adventurous, brave and crazy nature lovers who would like to join us. We don't want to take a tour as it is too expensive for us. As far as we know, hiring the transport to get us there and sharing the costs between 4-5 people turns out to be much more economic. Besides, there is more of excitement and adventure if we go there on our own. We do know it's difficult but not…
Hey Gang... We need to get to Villa Tunari (5 hours west of Santa Cruz)... from Iguassu falls.... We are heading to Iguassu this weekend so we don't have any direct info on what buses/planes we can catch etc..... Any suggestions?
I've just spent the best part of a day wandering around Sucre to find the Immigration office so I could extend my visa beyond 30 days (which by the way is free with a european passport).
Don't bother the shoestring guide it has the office in completely the wrong place. Also don't bother with the tourist map you get in the tourist information office as it has it in a completely different but similarly wrong location.
The actual location is on calle bustillo (i don't know the number) but it's…
Hi there
I'll arrive in Santa Cruz early september and will spend about 3,5 weeks in Bolivia. After that I'm heading to Peru for another 1,5 weeks.
Can anybody advice me on a good route and the best transportation for the time in Bolivia? I would like to visit the amazon (rurrenabaque?), Potosi, Salar de Uyuni, la Paz, lake Titicaca. Any other suggestions? If possible I would like to avoid going to/though La Paz twice.
Thanks a lot!
We are tossing up between the two.
What are your suggestions?
We want to see as much wildlife as possible (and in the wild as opposed to in a zoo etc), the local people (or tribes etc and learn about their culture).
Also, we realise that Rurrenabaque is the cheaper option, but we are OK with paying more if we are going to see more in Iquitos. We are planning on going in late Oct/early Nov (Peru) or early Nov/mid Nov (Bolivia).
