Can anyone recommend a hostel with private rooms in Santa Cruz?

Also,
I'm going to Oruro, for the carneval. I'm not sure about my reservation. The correspondence I've had with BoliviaContact has been somewhat erratic.
Can anyone provide the phone nr to BoliviaContact or Park Internacional Hotel in Oruro?

haven't played cacho for quite a while and right away I forgot parts of the rules - is any one out there who is familair with the rules in La Paz for cacho

What I remember is:

For the results I use a tic-tac-toe grid - for the numbers 1 - 6 I can write into the grid the sum of max. 4 numbers (so for 1 - max 4 x 1 = 4 , for 2 max 4 x 2 = 8 ) and…

Hello out there !

I'd imagine this question has already been answered but I have not found it asked by a person from the Irish Republic.
As I've had some conflicting information I wanted to see what the word was on TT, in case things have changes since the book I bought had been published.
I've had no success in getting hold of someone to ask from the Embassy in London or Spain.

Do I need to obtain a Visa for a vist to Bolivia for a stay of less than 30 days please?

Hi,

I already posted this travel report, but I have the impression it might answer some questions I read in the past weeks.
So I post it again. I hope it will help. If not, just do not waste your time reading it ;-) We were in Bolivia in October & November 2007.
If you wish more detailed information, check our website: http://www.oneyearoff.net/bolivia,world-tour-2007,14.html

Hello!
Does anyone know first hand if I can get a Visa upon arriving from the U.S. assuming I have all the new documentation etc. that is required? (vaccination records, hotel booking, bank statement, valid passport and $100 US).
Or do I need to get the Visa via mail from the Embassy in the U.S?

Thanks for any help on this as I would prefer not to send my passport through the mail for obvious reasons. I'm sure this question's been asked but I couldn't find it, so sorry for the repeat.

Jim

Hey there.. jus a question to see if anyone can aleve me of some fear lol.. I'm a Canadian traveling to Bolivia in a couple of days.. thing is, it says you don't need a tourist visa if you're going for under 30 days (which I am), however, it says you need a RETURN ticket.. which I don't have. I have a one-way ticket, because my plan is to travel around Bolivia, then go over to Argentina by land.. but I can't buy a bus ticket online ahead of time. So, I'm HOPING it will be okay and they won't…

Just wondering if this route exists, and if anyone knows what the best company to go with is. Also, if you have times, that'd be great too. Thanks!
