Just a quite update on Uyuni Salt flats tours. There has been heavy snow in the region towards the border with Bolivia / Chile and due to this BOTH border crossings are closed (sometimes when the crossing near Laguna Verde is closed you can cross higher up with the agencies charging an additional fee for taking you that way) so it is not possible to do the Salt Flats tours and then transfer into Chile (or of course start a tour in Chile that crosses over into Bolivia)
3 Day tours are also not…

I do some business in Bolivia but I live in the US. I need a recommendation for an excellent lawyer in la paz who had experiences with criminal law, property management, real estate law, etc and won those cases. I'm not too familiar with it since I have lived in the US all my life.

Hi - I am going to be in Bolivia for 2 months (Dec-Jan) and am looking to get involved with a sustainable agriculture related project. I am especially interested in seeds, because I have my own small seed company back home. In Guatemala I found a permaculture center that focused on working with indigenous locals to preserve indigenous seed varieties and in educating folks about the importance of keeping those seeds alive and in keeping Monsanto and GMO seeds OUT. I dream to find a similar…

In December we are travelling from Uyuni-La Paz to Cusco and have 3-4 days (including travel) to get there. We would like to stop in either La Paz or Copacabana or both if possible (but unlikely i think). As we dont have much time should we go straight to Copacabana for 2 days or will we miss too much not seeing La Paz. Any advice would be greatly appreciated xx

Hi
I am a very expierenced traveller.
I dont speak Spanish, but English. Can I travel to Bolivia alone safely? Can some people speak English out there? Is it safe?
I read about very unfriendly people. Is this true?
Some people had problems with landing in La Paz high altitude airport?

bye bye thank you, Reza

We just came back from an amazing experienze in the villages where the Jalq'a people live, in the Cordillera de los Frailes near Sucre. It is easy enough to organise the trip through one of the many agencies in Sucre. They offer trips from 1 day (hardly enough to get a sense of the geological and cultural richness of the eare) to three days. The 3-day trip typically includes the villages of Chataquila, Chaunaca, Marawa and Potolo.

If you have time and energy AND speak good Spanish though, we…

Hi folks - I'm looking at the cost of flights from La Paz to Rurre return and wonder if anyone knows if Amaszonas ever have any specials? I've been looking at their website for a few months now and haven't come across any so I just would like to know if I'm wasting my time waiting for cheapies. I'd rather wait until nearer the time to actually book but then again, if some wonderful deal came up then I'd grab it.
