We start a tour of the Salar from Tupiza on the 14th of December but will be coming from Sucre. I have only found info on night buses so I was wondering if anyone thought we would be cutting it too fine catching the night bus on the 13th, arriving at Tupiza at 6am on the 14th and leaving straight on the tour. To play it safe should we rather bus over on the 12th and just spend the 13th in Tupiza? Is there much to do in Tupiza? We are limited for time so just…
I am trying to squeeze Potosi into my itinerary. I want to take the cama bus from La Paz to Potosi on Saturday evening April 19. From Potosi I want to go to Uyuni the next day, Easter Sunday April 20, hopefully a late afternoon bus. What time do the buses run to Uyuni from Potosi? I would like to spend the day in Potosi, if at all possible.

I think about going from La Paz to Rurrenabaque, having a Pampa tour there and making it further via Riberalta to Guayarmerin and Brazil. I am a bit scared that transport could be difficult in the first half of February. Roads could be blocked or services suspended because of the raining season.
Does anyone have experience with travelling there at this time of the year?

We like to visit the area of Villa Tunari around December 16th, preferably for 2 or 3 days. Main goals are birding and wildlife watching, and we would like to do the old Carrasco National Park road (link) , especially the middle elevations, to see the specific flora/fauna of these elevations. I'm going to be in Bolivia and Chile late next month and have an itinerary sorted, but would prefer to keep some degree of flexibility - as such I would prefer to avoid booking flights and tours well in advance, unless booking on the day or a few days in advance just isn't practical (or will end up costing a fortune). Is doable to book the following at short (or no) notice, or would it be best to be sorting them now?

I am planning on traveling solo to Bolivia for about 3 weeks. The only flights I can book will be land in La Paz at 3am - what tips do you have for safe transportation to my hostel?
I am budgeting around $800-1000 for the 3 weeks and would like to see Uyuni, Death Road, Lake Titicaca, and visit Sucre for a few days. I know some of those are quite expensive but could that be a reasonable budget?
Also I know Loki and Wild Rover are popular hostels, but do you have any recommendation…
