Hi :-)

can somebody please let me know where I can see toucans in the wilderness of Bolivia. Heard of a National Park - no zoo.

Saw toucans on a pampa tour in Rurrenabaque.

i think pretty much in any of the jungle areas and even in some semi tropical areas. Ive seen them in remote parts of chulumani area also, as well as Rurre (in both pampas and jungle areas)

There's a place called Parque Machia in the Chapare region a few hours drive outside of Cochabamba. My understanding is that a lot of the animals are rescues such as unwanted pets. The monkeys are the stars here but I think there may be Toucans there. It's a great place to see Bolivian wildlife up close in a semi natural habitat as many of the mammals simply room free and the birds are in massive aviaries. The closest town in Villa Tunari.

that place that bhak1 refers to is part of the Inti Wara Yassi (which means sun , moon , stars in Aymara,Quechua and Guaraní I believe ) animal refuges
