If i try i might just be able to fit in a trip (using flights) to Rurrenabaque but would only have three days. At the moment all the Pampas tours i can fond are 3d/2n ones - Are there any shorter ones out there.
Thanks

Thanks, Certainly looks better than spending time in Cochabamba on the way back from Uyuni/Sucre to La Paz. May need to limit days in Potosi/Sucre so cutting it fine

We did a 3D/2N with Dolphin Tours to the Pampas, great company, definitely worth asking them if a shorter tour is possible as they seemed quite flexible. Day tours to the jungle/pampas are possible we think but if you can play around with your time at all to do a 3D/2N in the Pampas we would definitely recommend it

Show up at their door with cash and any tourist agency in Rurre will take you out as soon as you want and bring you back when you want. The people on the web and at agencies outside of rurre are looking to maximize their commissions and want you to take a long tour.

it doesnt really matter to the agencies if you take a 2 day tour or a 3 day tour to be honest because they cost the same for the pampas and the same profit is made. It is perfectly possible to do but it means you miss the only full day exploring the pampas - day one half the day is travelling there , day two is a full day there and day 3 is half day travelling back - take out the middle day and you lose half the tour really. Also, you dont mention when you are going - but this week the flights to Rurre and back are going to be very disrupted with a number of cancellations. Last week was the same. This can effect you plans also and a visit to Rurre doesnt really suit people on tight schedules (a visit to Bolivia doesnt really as things can and do go wrong due to weather, conditions, protests, blocks, holidays, random unpublished fiestas and events etc etc )
