Hi All,

There will be a group of us in La Paz for new Years.
I'm looking for recommendations of places to stay and also if you know what sorta celebrations take place for the new year, if any?

Anything you could recommend or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Not much happens in la paz for new year, other than pubs and clubs having big parties and some fireworks over in plaza san fransisco. For the best place to stay, LOKI Hostel would get my vote. It only opened in march, but based on cusco and lima, it will have a great party lined up for sure. For other places to visit, Olivers travels, Orange Bar and Sol y Luna will all have great parties planned in advance.
