Hello all :)
I'm flying to Las Vegas USA from Dubai for a conference and would like to extend my trip for a short holiday to Bolivia, but all flights seem to be terribly expensive from USA to South America.

My plan -
Las Vegas (Los Angeles or San Francisco) to Bolivia (La Paz) 16th October 2015
Bolivia(La Paz) to USA (Los Angeles or San Francisco) 24th October 2015.
Any suggestions about websites for cheaper ticket options would help.

thanks,
Michelle

Bolivia is a curious choice for an 8-day holiday from the USA. La Paz is a long way from Las Vegas and I'm assuming there is very little demand on this route (can't think of two cities more different from each other!). You will also have to deal with altitude sickness upon arrival, as well as Bolivia's less-than-ideal travel infrastructure.
You could save yourself a tremendous amount of money and hassle by visiting some astounding landscapes near Vegas in southern Utah. On a par with anything you'll see in Bolivia IMO. If you are after latin American culture I'd think some places in Mexico or Colombia would be a better bet given your time frame.

I usually travel on business trips to USA and make the detour to South America. I was in Peru this July for 7 days after my business trip across the USA & Canada. Did the Salkantay Trek with a visit to Machu Picchu so altitude was fine for me. Bolivia is on my list!

I'm flying to Boliva in Mid October from NYC for $320 Roundtrip. Got the deal on Skyscanner,

La Paz is a LOT higher than Machu picchu! Highly recommend that you do the Road of Death on a bike with gravity assisted.
