Hello eveyone!
I'm a student in the US with a permanent resident card (canadian) and I am going to La Paz, Bolivia for 36 days in January. I've been trying to figure out if I do need a visa based on the new visa requirements, but everywhere I look for info either isn't updated on the new requirements or is confusing based on my status......can anyone help clarify this for me?

If you have a Canadian Passport and that's what you are using to travel you don't need a visa. If you are using a USA Passport, you need a visa.

Whoa, since when did Bolivia start requiring visas?! Looks like I won't be running across to see Isla del Sol when I'm in Peru next summer!

It was announced in September(its been on this forum many many times) - goes into effect in December. Its $100 for a 5 year tourist visa - maximum three entries - maximum cumulative annual stay 90 days - no other option for tourists - see the link I just posted.
