Bolivia Trekking Questions

1. I can endorse the recommendations about San Miguel del Bala made by earlier posters. Recently I stayed at both the main lodge near the coim munity itself and at the outpost two hours upstream on the Tuichi and the trip was very good value for money.
   Of course, Chalalan is very good as well, but it takes longer to get there.
2. Erik07 #4: It seems all TAM flights are now leaving from the main terminal at El Alto, not from the military terminal as before.

I am looking into booking with bala tours for the jungle 4D3N. I was wondering how other international travelers sorted out their payments?
