Has anyone been to both Apolobamba trek and Laguna Glacier. I wasnt that impressed with the Laguna glacier one...too much work to see a laguna glacier, and plus the scenery on the way wasnt impressive and neither was Laguna Chilotoe...(or whatever its called),...
Someone mentioned that the Apolabmaba trek is quite similar in scenery, but would appreciate a few more comments from more people who have been to both. I understand that the Apolobamba is not as difficult as the Laguna Glacier one...so i suppose that is the good news...but i dont want to waste so many days seeing the same stuff (like green valleys) of which i have seen plenty of throughout my life...more time wasted on doing the same thing again and again....less time on something different...
