How are peoples experience with Amaszonas - They seem to have some bad reviews on Facebook.

If i have a flight with them can i rely on them getting me to Uyuni in the morning in time for a tour starting at 10-11am? Also is it advisable to take our luggage on board with you as some of the reviews are not great on their luggage handling
Thanks

These are NOT big planes. Do NOT think they allow luggage on board. I found their staff very helpful...but they told a French couple in La paz they had no seats available on our flight to Rurre and then I was surrounded with empty seats.

I someimes fly with Amaszonas and find them generally reliable. Certainly as reliable as the other options in Bolivia. Never had any problems with checking and collecting bags. These are 50-seater planes and the overhead lockers are small so don't expect to carryon anything large. Book in advance if you can.

We have booked with Amazonas and have done a bit of research. Small planes, with a maximum 20 kg check in and only 3kg's hand luggage. You can apparently see if there is any extra space on the day of travel and purchase additional luggage, but only if there is availability. Seem's a bit too risky. We have just decided to travel very light because of this one small internal flight.
