Arriving in El Calafate by plane on a Fri afternoon. Planning to see the glacier on Sat and leave by night bus on Sunday. Is one full day in El Calafate enough, should I plan 2 nights?

I have six weeks in all starting this January to travel. Our last trip 3 years ago was in Peru and Bolivia where we hiked the Inca Trail and visited the Salar de Uyuni. Before that, we spent time hiking in the Patagonia and relaxing in Bariloche. This time, I would love to see the area north of BsAs, and Iguazu. I would also love to cross over into southern Bolivia, and/ or Brazil.

Any suggestions for definite places not to miss, for an itinerary, including mode of transportation?

Guys I am planning to fly to El Calafate. Few questions
1. Should I fly from Bueno Aires or Igauzu falls (Argentina side). - on a shoestring :(
2. What are the cheap flight options available
3. Are there are any tour companies which have all inclusive package (from Bueneo aires/Igauzu falls) taking care of flights to El Calafae, accommodation in El Calafate and glacier sight seeing .?
4. We will be Argentina for 2 weeks and we are planning BA, Falls and Glacier. Any other must see.?

Hi everybody, I read many times all the posts and on line and it seems there is no direct bus from El Calafate to Esquel. Am I right? Does anybody know of the easiest way to get to Esquel by bus?
I read about El Chalten Travel odd and even days departures from El Calafate to Bariloche, but they don't mention Esquel.
Will be in El Calafate in mid December.

I am planning a very short trip (10-12 Days) to Argentina and would like advice on which cities we should visit. We have traveled a lot, We love authentic travel and are not found of the overly touristy places. We are looking for nature as well.
I expect we will spend time in BA, about 3 days and then either 2 days one night at the falls or 2 nights depending on if my research points me towards seeing the falls from both sides.

I might be heading to beautiful Buenos Aires in November/December. I might be staying with a friend. And I'm not a big party animal.

Is $1500 in US dollars adequate for a five week visit to Buenos Aires? I will stay in town, drink espressos, go out to dinner now and then and take in some tango shows.

My girlfriend lives in Argentina, she wants to send me some money. Before she used a serviced called RIA but in total almost half of the money vaporized due to bad exchange rates and transfer fee. She has a bank account and a international creditcard, what would be the best way? I read that paypal might be difficult and expansive too? There always is going to be a tax of 30% for sending money?

Is the below still valid?
Geminis on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
Pullman on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Andesmar on Monday and Friday.

Pullman and Andesmar im certain as those can be booked online..but im just not 100% certain regarding Geminis and emails to them are not getting any responses
