Hey,

I'm coming to the end of a 3 month work experience placement in Temuco, Chile... I have two weekends left here before heading North and I've decided that this Friday to Monday I WILL cross the Andes and get to Bariloche!!!! I have wanted to go for a while but have found no one to go with me... I still have no one but have decided to brave it and travel alone!!!!!

So, I kind of urgently need advice on

1) What bus route is the best at this time of the year??? Do I go through Pucon or Osorno???? (How long is the journey?!)

2) Do you, who know the area more than I do, recommend going directly to Bariloche or are there some places I should stop in on the way or get to in the time I am there (San Martin de los ANdes???)... This will obviousy depend on the answer to 1.

3) Any good addresses for where to stay in Bariloche??

4) What can I do in Bariloche and the area???? I love hiking and nature but will be alone so maybe an organised group excursion?? Any companies you have experience of??

5) I still haven't been to any termas in the region... are there any I could stop off in on the way back (Puyehue??)

Any other advice?!!!

I know very little (nothing) about the area!! Please give me as much detail as possible!!! I really want to book tickets tomorrow, Thirsday, maybe start travelling Thurs night??

I'm posting this in both the Argentina and Chile branch, I hope that's ok! ;)
I look forward to your replies!

THANKS!!! :)

PS I realise it's snowing in Bariloche at the moment, I don't ski ;) I hope the pasos aren't all closed?!!!
