hi all,
i'm currently in buenos aires until july 2 and am looking to get a tattoo on june 21 (the date has special significance, which is why i'd like to do it here rather than wait until i get back to the u.s.) does anyone have any recommendations for places to go or places to avoid? i'd like to go somewhere where i can be just as confident in the safety and cleanliness as i would at a decent place in the states... and i'm not looking to get anything too terribly fancy, but obviously quality still matters - much more than cost for something like this. anyone have any clue how pricing goes down here as well? again, not that cost is at all a primary concern. the tattoo i'm after would cost about U$S100 where i'm from (the philadelphia area) but yeah, no clue what that would run down here...
and if you'd advise me to just wait for my return to the u.s., feel free to share that opinion! i obviously don't want to regret something that i'll have for the rest of my life...

theres a mall in Sante Fe shopping area, that has nothing but tattoo studios & piercing jewellery, if you went there im sure you would have trouble choosing which one to go to as there are so many, & sorry i dont remember exactly where on sante fe it was, but that would be the place to go, most of the places looked very clean.

anyway there are 4 blocks apart, about 400 meters

but the main one is the bond street
thats about 1 block from av santa fe and av callao corner
the closets subway is 4 blocks away in av cordoba and av callao on the D line and the name of the station is CALLAO

checked out american tattoo today... just walked by it at a glance... i'm in an apt on rodriguez pena half a block from santa fe... can't believe i didn't realize what the bond street gallery was! one of the entrances is basically across the street from me! plenty of places looked decent in there, but wow, american tattoo definitely stood out. thanks a ton for the recommendation! i'm gonna actually go in sometime later this week and talk to the people... looks like it'll be my place though. thanks!!!
