Hi all,
I´ve never been skiing before but would like to check it out while here.
Can anyone let me know any decent places to go, websites etc. as I am finding it really difficult to get info from the web.

Thanks

I went skiing near Mendoza yesterday, at Los Penitentes. It was the first day of the season so the lift pass was free! It was really good but I´ve heard that the resorts down South are better. However, definitely worth a visit if you´re there, and you could get a whole day´s worth of beginner skiing lessons for 90 pesos.

The only time I skied (is that the verb??) was in La Hoya, in Esquel, as Nahuel told you. Not so much people, nice field (the school is in an easy part), powder snow.
everything is cheaper than in other skii resorts.
