Hey, does anyone know where I can find good salsa lessons in Buenos Aires? Is Argentina like the other countries i've been to in SA and there is salsa kind of everywhere? My sister is coming to visit for just a couple weeks, and we're not really interested in tango (which we probably won't get too far with in two weeks anyways), but we're open to other types of dance as well. Thanks!

There's a place, La Salsera, at yatay street between Humahuaca and Guardia Vieja (Almagro neighbourhood). It's one of the oldest place in town to dance salsa (tel: 4864-1733).
At the same neighbourhood, you'll find Danzario Americano: Guardia Vieja 3559, tel: 4863-8401.
Both maybe have web pages with schedules.

Hi,

BA has quite a lot of Salsa places, salsapower provides a listing. I went to Azúcar Abasto (Avda. Corrientes 3330 ) some years ago, great place. Outside BA you won't find many Salsa places, at least compared to most other countries in Latin America.

Enjoy BA !
