Is there anyway around the reciprocity processing fee? One sight charges $20.00 another $40.00, in addition to the $160.00 for the visa itself.

has instructions and is the official site to pay the Argentine reciprocity fee and from which to print the receipt you will carry with you. This site charges only the reciprocity fee, according to your nationality/passport. If you hold a US passport, the reciprocity fee is $160. (There is no visa for tourists with a US passport.)

No reason not to use the official site. It has been trouble-free for a long time. I have talked to hundreds who have used the offical site without problems, and I have used it recently and often for family members. Most of the stories of problems have been falsely drummed up by the commercial processing companies. Start here: https://reciprocidad.provincianet.com.ar/Default.aspx

it is trouble free, sounds like you are clicking on commercial sites.
just never throw out your print out, even after you are processed at the border. (you can reprint it if you lose it.)

Sounds like an inability to differentiate between the Google ads and the Google search results, of course the ads are on top, that is how they manage to separate the suckers from their money and how Google gets its share,
