Hi all!

Headed to Argentina for 3 weeks. We are looking at flying between Montevideo and Mendoza. Checked out pricing airline tickets online before we go and noticed the price difference for non-Argentinians was almost twice as much as for Argentinians. Wondering if it is better (cheaper) to wait and buy tickets when we are there? It looks like there are several flights offered. Anyone have any sense of how crowded these flights might be?

Any insights appreciated!

Hi Jani,
the flights for non-Argentinians are more expensive. Do not expect to get anything reduced in the country. If you go by plane it might be worth looking for Airline passes to travel in Argentina. Or you just book a flight from Mendoza to Buenos Aires and take the ferry to Uruguay. Buy the ferry ticket also in advance.
Flights from Mendoza to Buenos Aires aren't fully booked, there are always seats available, but the earlier you book, the better price you can get.
