Hello everyone,

  1. me and my friends are travelling to Patagonia in the middle of February 2016 (around 10 people from Europe). We are looking for round trip plane tickets from Bs As to Patagonia.
Could You suggest best options for budget traveling? LAN, LADE and Aerolineas seems a little too much, as in Europe you can travel same distances from 40-60 to 100 euros with budget airlines... :) Are there some other options? Please, be kind to share your experience!

  2. We are planning 6 days in Patagonia. We will be traveling by cars. But our goal is to have 1 or 2 days kayaking trip. (preferably around glaciers, but actually could be any picturesque destinations)
First - Is there a possibility to rent just kayaks and paddle without tour guide?
Secondly - Could you recommend any paddling destinations you did? We are still looking for the best one as our group has different levels of experience.

Thank You in advance!
Eve

There are no budget airlines in Argentina. Forget about plane tickets for 100 euros.

Bear in mind that here, Argentina, you need cash to exchange on the black market because the official rate is too low.

  1. In europe....sure. But we are in South America we're budget airlines aren't really a thing. You would be looking at (for the cheapest fare) in Argentina roughly 180USD-200USD for a one way flight. There are only two airlines in the country - LAN and Aerolineas. For Chile, you may get a flight about 100USD one way - if you are lucky, book ahead and are flexible.

  2. 6 days in Patagonia. Its a huge huge area - it encompasses over 1 million square kms. Its massive. Distances are huge. And towns are few and far between. Given your short time frame - stick to One country and One area of Patagonia. For example - in 6 days you could visit Perito Moreno Glacier and the area around El Chalten. But not much more.
