patagonia in april

Hi there,
I've just booked a tour with Say Hueque to do their 13 day Patagonia tour starting 11th April and I was just wondering if anyone has done a tour through these people before. It seems, since it's so cheap, that you're left to do get on with your own thing alot but it's been about 3 days and after numerous emails, they still haven't sent me my itinerary or contacted me at all, which I'm getting a little concerned about. Can anyone tell me if they are a good/reliable tour group?
Also, I'll be a female travelling alone and was considering making my way down to El Calafate on buses. Could anyone tell me if this a good idea or should I just get a flight down. It seems like there's alot of buses that go that way that are quite regular but I don't know what the reliability and safety situation is in reality.
